The Problem

What we were solving for

NEET is India's toughest medical entrance exam, and most aspirants stitch their prep together from separate tools — one app for mock tests, another for doubt clearing, a third for revision. The tools don't talk to each other.

Students lose time switching between apps, and nothing adapts to their weak areas, schedules their study time, and answers their doubts in one place.

The Build

How we approached it

A full-stack web platform with 9 integrated AI modules running on Claude Sonnet (text reasoning) and GPT-4o Vision (handwritten doubt photos). Every module shares the same student profile, so weak areas detected in one feed back into the others.

The Smart Study Planner builds a daily plan from the syllabus and a student's mock-test history. The Photo Doubt Solver turns a snapped textbook page or handwritten problem into a structured walkthrough. The Rank Predictor uses Item Response Theory to forecast performance.

Highlights
  • Smart Study Planner with adaptive scheduling
  • Photo Doubt Solver — GPT-4o Vision on handwritten problems
  • Weak Area Analyser with subject-level granularity
  • Rank Predictor using Item Response Theory
  • Supabase RLS — full data isolation per student
  • Smart model routing — Haiku → Sonnet → Opus
The Outcome

What it does in production

Live in production across Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The backend handles concurrent AI requests with Redis caching and Supabase row-level security isolating each student's data.

Costs are kept down with smart model routing — simple queries go to cheaper models, hard ones to Sonnet — instead of sending everything to the largest model.
